Jane Ashen Turkewitz launched T & JAM Resume Services in 2001, when, as an executive recruiter, she reviewed thousands of resumes and interviewed hundreds of candidates and recognized the need for career strategy services. Prior to working as a recruiter (in media and new media), Turkewitz was the Marketing Director for Condé Nast Publications' Details magazine. Before Details, Turkewitz was the Merchandising Development Director for Seventeen magazine where she led a creative team in developing cross-media marketing programs for fashion, beauty, retail, health, fitness and entertainment advertisers.

Turkewitz has also served as Vice President of Marketing for Image Info. Inc. — a technology group catering to the fashion/retail industry. As lead marketer, she created the company's first-ever concentrated marketing efforts to communicate with the fashion and retail industries.

Prior to her work at Image Info. Inc., Turkewitz developed strategic alliances with Walt Disney Company divisions as a Marketing Manager within the company's Consumer Magazine Group. Her career began in 1990 within the market research department of The New York Times Company Sports/Leisure Group, where she implemented primary research programs for clients in the North American and Asian markets.

As President of T & JAM Resume Services, Turkewitz made a strategic alliance with MediaBistro.com where she served as their official resume writer for three years and wrote weekly critiques published in the Freelance Marketplace. She is a frequent lecturer and her how-to articles and resume critiques have been featured in Hispanic MBA Magazine, on more than 50 career-related Web sites and in the Gladiator e-newsletter.

Turkewitz, thru 2009, was the EVP of Markham Media Executive Search where she placed sales, marketing, business development and editorial candidates in major media and entertainment companies, primarily in the dot-com space. With a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan, Turkewitz has an office in New Rochelle and New York City.
